6th Annual Weekend Knitting Retreat
March 15 – March 17, 2013
The Whispering Pines Conference Center is located in the heart of 2,300 acres of forests, lakes and streams in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Upon arrival, you will walk into a warm country living room complete with fieldstone fireplace, early American furnishings, and find a gracious staff waiting to be of service. The fieldstone fireplaces in each of the lodges are great areas to enjoy a roaring fire, sit, knit and chat. The entire facility is relaxing, charming and inviting.
There are 32 guest rooms in 4 different lodges that are all within walking distance to each other. Classroom areas in Sycamore Lodge include a living room, porch and deck area. Nettles classroom areas include a living room and porch. Whispering Pines classroom areas include a large living room and outside deck. The dining area overlooks Lake Eisenhower.
There is a full description and many pictures of the facility at http://www.wpinescc.com or google Whispering Pines, RI.

Transportation to and from Whispering Pines is your responsibility. There are many yarn, quilting, needlepoint, consignment, candy, and coffee shops within a reasonable drive of the conference center which have been structured into a series of yarn crawls on either side of Naragansett Bay and up into Providence. These shops have been visited by or recommended by guild members for your travelling and shopping adventure on the way down or back to Boston. Suggested routes will be sent to you in your reservation confirmation email.
